@ShangXian I would say it applies on everything (both faving submissions and profiles), but I'm not entirely sure on this one.

apparently back in 2006 you could only fave a maximum of 200 items, now the limit has been raised but I hope they will raise it again because knowing myself I would need more than 40,000 items XD.

While in 2008-2009 the limit was 500:

Hello, I would like to give an update after I opened a thread in the Where is/How to/Help forum section, Tango replied me and said that the favorite cap is per category, so one can favorite 40k artworks, 40k videos, 40k songs, etc.

@53xy83457 200 items per playlist if you are a Supporter otherwise it's 100 items per playlist. Even after the Support expires the previous +100 items added to the default 100 items when you were a Supporter remain in the playlist.

I don't know about the limit number of playlist. Currently searching through forum threads but for now nothing. A person asked in the playlist update happened in May 2023 but no one gave an answer to their question.

EDIT: apparently according to Tom Fulp's reply about private lists you can create as many private lists as you want:

I quote his passage:

"A number of people have asked about having private favorites lists and I think the simplest thing we could do there would probably be the option to make a playlist private, so you could create as many private playlists as you want and catalog all sorts of content in them."

So if this applies to private lists, it will probably applies to visible lists as well.
