Aren't Photoshop just for editing?
A mix between Animate/Ibis
You can get those two in IbisPaint
IbisPaint
I use it bc of the multiple choices for brushes
Plus, you can get tye brushes by only watching ads
I've gone back to pencil and paper for drawing, maybe pen and markers from time to time. As someone who grew up in the "pre-smartphone/iPad" era, it's just the most comfortable for me.
As for 3D, I use Blender (well, technically a fork of Blender called B4Artists) because I am a cheap bastard that would rather spend hours optimizing 3D renders than getting a computer that could run better software like Unreal Engine, Maya and Substance Painter.
You can try to implement your traditional art into 3D if you really want it, i have seen several of it, pretty good
@Finasty IT ALSO FOR DRAWIMG
I know i know lmao
@Finasty Can you give examples? Implementing traditional art into 3D sounds awesome, and would go a long way towards making 3D look less "digital" and soulless.
Taking pictures of my paper-and-pencil drawings and turning the pictures into textures for my 3D models is the only example I can think of right now.
Yes and it's the only possible way, i mean there is another way, but you need a muscle memory for that as you keep looking for it back and forth from 3D software to the pictures, if you already knew what the design is, your only need is just memory

I just use pencil and paper because that’s what I grew up with knowing how to draw so I just stick with it. Whenever I try drawing on a computer or something I’m just not that good at it.
